You can't just add one of these connectors with a coupler and then patch cables to connect to 2 computers. You also need to have the same arrangement at the router/switch end, ie patch cables from 2 ports into one of of these connectors, and a coupler to the long cable. So you need a pair (2) of these connectors, 2 couplers and 4 patch cables - by the time you've figured this out, you realise it would probably be much simpler and cheaper to buy a 5 port powered switch and two patch cables - which would give greater flexibility/future capacity.
