• Although its practically invisible to the naked eye, HPs photo papers are actually made up to 4 layers. One absorbs the ink, another locks in the dye while a third layer ensures glossiness. Finally the reverse is given a special coating to control flatness. All HP Paper products will be resistant to fading and when used in conjunction with hp ink will produce sharper, clearer images with a professional finish.

HP papers and transparencies produce an improvement in print quality over regular media that you can easily see. The reason is that they've been designed to interact with the complexities of the HP Color LaserJet printing process in a very precise way.
