The HP StorageWorks 4/16 SAN Switch offers 4 Gb connectivity for entry-level storage area networks (SAN), and the ability to grow to a core-to-edge infrastructure. The simplicity and ease-of-use advantages of this switch helps increase administrator productivity and lower the cost of management. The switch delivers sixteen high performance Auto Sensing 1, 2, and 4Gb/s Fiber Channel ports. In addition, the 4/16 SAN switch is fully non-blocking and provides 128 Gb switching (4Gb full duplex) bandwidth. The model is ideal for new and existing SAN installations.
