Although there are other alternatives, MS Project is still the best on the market. New features include Visual Reports, Report templates, Desktop OLAP cube and many more.

One of the new features that I very much like is "Change Highlighting" that is when changes are made to a project, all affected task and resource fields are highlighted. You can easily see how your change affects the dates of successor tasks, summary costs, and more.

Highly recommended!
