I am disgusted with Word 2007. A series of defaults are imposed, without any clear indication how to remove them. Help is useless.

1. All my 100s of Tables of Contacts created during years of work have ceased operating. Am I supposed to spend weeks creating new ones?

2. Spelling check is imposed. I do not want it, but am not told how to remove it.

At every stage I discover some new needless problem, but these are enough to make the programme unusable for me.

I understand that 1000s of users have complained, and I am angry that Microsoft have devised this means of extracting money from faithful clients.

I do not expect anything to be done to help me,as the programme is essentially phoney. Small wonder it is not accompanied by any sort of manual.
