| There are a number of ways in
which you can use our site to find the products that you are looking for.
These range from generic free text searches, to specifying precise components
of a machine using our product search assistants.
Browsing the Hierarchy –
You can ‘drill down’ through our product sections using
the links on the left hand side of the site. These start with generic
ranges such as computers & notebooks, and open up more options as
you progress. As you browse the hierarchy, at any point you can use
the product search facility on the right of the screen to specify search
criteria and search within a category.
Quicksearch –
Our Quicksearch facility allows you to enter a PC World Business product
code, manufacturers part number, or free text into the search field.
Results for a free text search are displayed under categories, indicating
how many results are contained within each. At this stage or after clicking
through to the category itself for a product listing, you may wish to
use our Refine Search facility to narrow down your results further.
Advanced Search –
Use our Advanced Search facility to search for products by price, stock
availability and keyword. If you click this whilst in an area of the
hierarchy, you will be given the option to search the whole catalogue,
or just within the section that you are in.
Refine Search –
Using our Refine Search facility from within search results, you can
narrow down your search results by price, stock availability and keyword,
in the same way that you would use the Advanced Search.
